Father, I nullify every conscious and unconscious self created barriers and obstacles that have brought the tortoise spirit into my life, in the name of Jesus. Father, by your word, my wasted time is restored, the gap is bridged, in the name of Jesus. Father, I renounce all sinful habits that connect me with the SNAIL and TORTOISE spirit, in the name of Jesus. Father, By the Blood of Jesus Christ, l nullify all the covenant slowing down the pace of my progress, in the name of Jesus. Father, arise oh Lord, let Your enemies be scattered, in the name of Jesus. Father, I thank you for speed and accuracy in my life and my destiny, in the name of Jesus. Father, I ask for forgiveness for all my sins and I plead for your mercy and grace, in the name of Jesus. Father, I thank you for your love and mercy over my life and mercy and for keeping me from evil eyes, in the name of Jesus. The Bible says in Psalms 18:29 “For by thee I have run through a troop, and by my God have I leaped over a wall.” God has already given us the spirit of speed and accuracy, we just need to dislodge the spirit of the tortoise and let God’s spirit function in us.īelow are prayer points to help you pray your way out of every spirit of tortoise that is on rampage in your life, and as you do the Lord will empower you to run through every barrier ,limitation, delay in life, in the name of Jesus. Then, the spirit of the tortoise is at work in your life and affairs.īut for you as a child of God, it ought not to be so. If you have been on a project that’s looking as if you can never complete it, processing a travelling document that seems not to materialise, or a contract is tied down, you are experiencing postponed marriage. This type of spirit retards progress, stagnates lives and destroys destinies. If one have this spirit of the tortoise upon his life, progress in life will be retarded. It makes one feel discouraged at the slightest events and gets you frustrated out. This tortoise spirit brings unnecessary delays, discouragement, procrastination, frustration and even stagnation into your good plans and projects. The devil uses the tortoise spirit to slow down the wheel of progress of the redeemed as destined for them by God. The tortoise spirit refers to evil powers that slow down everything that you are trying to do. It gets to its destination, but in a very delayed time and space. 
Tortoise is known for its slow movement and sluggishness. The tortoise spirit is one of such devices.
The devil is said to be powerless, but has so many devices at his possession which he uses to trap the destiny of the redeemed. Today we are looking at prayer points against the tortoise spirit.
